No long after I posted the story about the informal meeting between Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad and Lee Hsien Loong in Langkawi, to my English blog www.roncyberprince.blogspot.com, Alex posted this:
Ron, for your information, tens of thousands Malaysian workers have already use smart cards to enter Singapore since five years ago.
Everyday thousands of Malaysians just insert their smart card into the slot, put our right thumbprint onto the scanner, in less than four seconds, the gate opens (if the thumb print matches pre-record thumbprint stored in the card.)
No immigration officer is in sight to check your passport. That is how Singapore clears tens of thousands of Malaysian workers and students everyday. Read here:

Nampak sangat kita orang ni kurang cerdik apabila singapure minta apa pun dibuat bantahan yang bukan-bukan, walhalnya singapure tu bukanlah asing dalam sejarah hidup malaysia. Dialah intan, dialah busuk dan dialah teman tidur.
Apalah otak kita macam ni hah?
Saya ada anak yang bekerja di Singapura dan sering kali berulang alik ke sana. Setiap kali di Imigresen Singapura, paspot saya dan keluarga disemak secara detil seperti di lain-lain negara.

Pendapat saya, saya tak kisah nak guna smart card ke, foolish card ke... tapi yang menjadi persoalannya mengapa kita mesti libatkan Singapura untuk membangunkan wilayah selatan tu sampaikan kita rela Menteri Singapura dimasukkan sekali di dalam jawatankuasa pembangunan yntuk mengawalselia projek berkenaan. Sejak bila kita tidak pandai menguruskan Negara sendiri ni. Ada pernah ke Malaysia meletakkan menterinya di dalam mana-mana jawatankuasa memajukan Singapura? Dulu nak mansuhkan penyertaan wajib Bumiputera, kini nak masukkan Menteri Singapura pulak dalam jawatankuasa. Kalau kita kata kita menggadai Negara, banyak orang marah. Tapi apa ke namanya ni? Kalau orang Malaysia ni semua bodoh-bodoh dan tiada yang pandai nak pantau atau mengurus projek ni, tak payahlah buat...
Nak marah betul ni....
